This site started in July 2004, and is edited by MaryAnne Davies (1968). She is married with Arthur and they have two children. MaryAnne is a high school teacher and plays recreational golf for many years. How I All Starts
I love playing golf an I like to talk about it. As a teacher I also like to learn people about golf and to advice them on the game. For some years I keep lists with the useful tips and checks I hear and see on golf courses, from professionals, in club houses, and in shops and stores. And in the Spring of 2004 I decided to frame them in a website, so I could show them to my friends. And thanks to an old school friend of Arthur and Dr. Evoy the technical webmastering turned out to be a piece of cake. From Lots of Countries
After a while I discovered that many golfing friends from over the world liked my checklists too!
