Golf Club Distances Checklist
Golf club distances tips and checks for all lady golf clubs. Here's how to make a personal distance chart of the various woods, irons and wedges in your golf set.
There are some factors that influence the distances you reach on the course or at the driving range. These are:
- Your club set
- Your length
- Your physic
- Your swing speed in miles per hour - mostly 90 to 100 Mph
- Your technique to hit the sweet spot well
- The type of loft of the lady golf clubs
- The type of ball
- The weather conditions - windy, rainy, dry, humid
- The condition of tees, fairways, bunkers and greens on the golf course.
Before you study the chart, remember this:
- The yardages and meters in the following chart show the average distances for average female golfing amateurs.
- Longer women golfers hit further, however most of the time it is possible that shorter ladies with a powerful swing speed can reach the same golf club distances.
- So, never compare yourself with other players! It's for your own purposes.

This is a simple checklist to determine your average golf club distances:

|
Go to the driving range and start with the club you are most comfortable hitting on the fairway. For many of us that will be the 7 iron.
|

|
Make 10 to 15 shots and note every distance you make on a sheet of paper. The 50, 100, 150 and 200 yardage points on the driving range can help you. |

|
Now take a short break and figure out the everage distance you've just hit. That's to say, determine the total sum of distances in yards or meters to the number of hits you've made. |

|
Do the same for every other ladies golf club in the bag. And in the end you know your own personal golf club distances. |
