Golf Grip Tips And Techniques
Golf grip tips and popular techniques. How to hold your lady golf clubs - the Overlapping, Interlocking or the Baseball grip way? Before I will give some golf grip tips first let's take a look at the three major ways to hold your lady golf clubs: - Overlapping Grip
- Interlocking Grip
- Baseball Grip - also called All Finger Grip, or Palm Grip
Popular Golf Grip TechniquesYou probably hold your lady golf clubs in a certain manner because you learned it like that. If you are happy with that and play well, keep it that way and don't try to change your grip technique if there is no special reason to do so. That is one of my main golf grip tips. Interlocking Grip
Used a lot by women players. Look around. Because it is an ideal grip technique for women with shorter fingers - check your sizes. You strech your right little finger and the left fore finger. For left handed lady golfers vise versa. Overlapping Grip
This is a very suitable lady golf grip for women with strong wrists and arms. Both hands are one. You place the right little finger on the left fore finger or around the knuckel of that finger. The Golf Baseball Grip
Ideal for women with small hands and for people with problems with stiff joints. Because you don't have to cross your fingers or to strech them. You put all your 10 fingers on your club. Just like you hold a baseball bat: with your left and right hand away on the shaft. The lady golf club lays in the palm of your hand. Therefore it is called the 10 finger golf grip. My General Golf Grip Tips
Hold your club relaxed. Just like you shake hands with your club parts. Check if you have the proper golf grip.

Put your left hand about 1 inch away from the grip end.

Place your left thumb in the lenght of the shaft. Form a nice virtual line.

The thumb-line leads to your face, you can folow the virtual line.

Than: place your right hand over your left one. The V-line of your right hand should 'lead' to your right shoulder. Left hand lady golfers: apply these grip tips vice versa.

Right hand players should see the knuckels of the right hand.

You can put your left thumb just under the right hand for more control.

The left hand is the leading lady in your swing: you 'push' the club in the righ direction - a straight line.

More grip tips: Put your hands higher to the end of the grip for more distance, and lower for less distance. Ideal for precision shots to the green with your wedges.

Note this: Right is left for left handed players on this page about golf grip tips. On all pages I wrote checklists and about step by step instructions, lefties have to reverse their point of view - most of you are used to that habit :-)
