Golf Instruction Lady - 3 Etiquette Tips
Golf instruction lady part one about lady golf etiquette hints and tips for women. If you play golf casually with a couple of friends once or twice a year, you may not be aware of the golf etiquette that is expected with more serious play.
Most golf courses and clubs have specific requirements, relating not only to your dress code and sometimes to lady golf clubs, but also a variety of other facets of the game as well.
Following my very simple and straight forward etiquette-specific guidelines will help to improve your game, and will be sure to please those around you as well.
Golf is a game of patience, concentration and courtesy. And playing the game right has as much to do with etiquette and courtesy as it has to do with hitting a small ball around with a long metal stick.

Golf instruction tip 1: Regarding golf apparel, it is important to know that proper golf clothing is always expected.
The age old expectation of plaid golfing pants, billed caps and sweater vests may be long past, it is still vital that you abide by the dress code set by the golf course or club, meeting the expectations of those who work there, and those who golf there.
Even public golf clubs and courses will require that you follow a dress code, including the use of a collared shirt, long pants and specific shoes.

Golf instruction lady tip 2: When it comes to beginning your game, one of the primary etiquette rules is to show up on time for your tee. What this means is that all preparation should have been completed prior to the beginning of the golf game.
This means you should already have parked, warmed yourself up, done whatever practicing is needed, changed clothes, purchased your balls, and picked up your cart and bag with your lady golf clubs.
Showing up early is a true matter of consideration to other people around you, and showing up five minutes before tee time is considered late. Another benefit of being on time is that you are more relaxed. Your play will be much better.

Golf instruction lady tip 3: Another common courtesy to consider when dressing for the links is to exclude your cell phone from your golfing experience all together.
You should either leave your cell phone at home, in your car, or in a designated locker.
If you do absolutely need to bring your cell phone onto the golf course for any reason, show common courtesy by keeping it turned off.
