Doing stretches also becomes a sort of routine that will help you relax, forget about all the other things going on in your life and focus on your game.

Similar to yoga or breathing exercises, a proper stretching routine will leave your centered and feeling prepared.

Here is an exercise that will help you get ready to play your best and to avoid injury. This final stretch can be done in conjunction with the first type of calf stretches. But these workout will work your quads and entire leg as well as our core.

5. Pull your stomach muscles in as you lunge forward and focus on your core. You will really use it when you go the step back to feet together.

And remember this: good workouts will help you to prevent injuries and will boost you abilities on the teebox, on the fairway and yes on the green!
