Ladies Golf Club Set : Golfing Exercises 2

Ladies golf club set posture lateral raise, the rope or stretching bands, and the incline plank golfing exercises for better playing with your lady golf clubs equipment in my part 2 on exercising for women.

golf equipment
The Posture Lateral Raise - One good choice to start with is the posture lateral raise. Get into normal golf posture, then bend just a little more at the hips. Feel comfortable.

Holding a pair of light dumbbells in front of your thighs, palms facing together, raise the weights to the side and up, slowly.

Then, slowly bring them back down. The backs of your shoulders will get a lot stronger a lot more quickly, and the only equipment you need is a cheap pair of dumbbells.

Total cost: ten to fifteen dollars. That's pretty good compared to a gym membership. And that's almost nothing to a new or used ladies golf club set!

The Rope - Another option is to get a piece of rope about three feet long. Take up the address position holding the end of this length of rope, then swing it like one of your favorite clubs in your ladies golf club set.

At the top of the back swing, the rope should come up over your left shoulder. The purpose of this exercise is you teach you the mechanics of the downswing with lady golf clubs and to help you check your swing in general.

Once you pause at the top of the back swing, you'll start the downswing with the left side of your body. Arms and hands should lag behind and your left side should be clear in the impact zone.
Lefties: read right where I write left.

The Stretching Bands - This technique can also help you work on your swing and improve working with your ladies golf club set overall as well, and there're plenty of other dumbbell exercises. Here I want to share with you the most common one:

Try holding a dumbbell at pre-impact position while standing in basic stance. Now lift the weight with the same motion as a golf swing. Do it faster after a while.

You can do something similar holding an exercise ball in front of you, swinging it left to right. Left hand women of course should use the stretching band technique the other way around.

golf exercises

The Incline Plank - Another excellent choice for people who want great golfing exercises to help them improve their overall game with a standard ladies golf club set.

It's also a wonderful exercise for general use. Just lean against a bench or high chair for thirty seconds (if that's too easy, try sixty seconds). This is a useful exercise for working your abs and core muscles, and will improve your overall strength and stability, as well as your posture.

In general: all suggested exercises lead to good posture, and good posture leads to less fatigue and less back pain. And above all: as well as to better playing :-)
