Lady Ping Golf Club Line Review

Lady Ping golf club, G2L Driver, G2 Fairway Woods, L-Wood, G2L Irons, G2HL Irons and Lady Ping Putters.

You could say that the lady Ping golf line is the result of a hobby of one man to design the perfect putter. In the late 1950s, Karsten Solheim made the very first toe-heel balanced putter: the Ping 1A. Following this putter's success, he also started to produce irons, with scientific techniques, as of 1967 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
The name Ping comes from the sound the very first putter used to make when the inventor and founder Solheim hits the ball. Later the founder also made custom fitted a lady Ping golf club line, based on a color code system. This code is used to determine the lie angle - the angle between the shaft and the sole of the club head - to prevent golfers from ploughing.
Here you'll see an overview of the lady Ping golf club line G2L, short reviews and explanations of the main technical characteristics. The G2L is the lady Ping golf club line for all handicappers.

G2L Driver

The GL2 Driver is meant for slower swingspeed women, according to Ping. Striking features: the head is large and the loft is higher than usual for drivers: 15.5 degrees. In addition, they have chosen an ultra-light shaft and the swingweight - to put it simply: how the weight of a club feels during the swing - has been kept low. All this must result in a larger sweetspot - the area with which the ball can be hit well.

G2 Fairway Woods

The G2 Fairway Woods are characterised by their large head sizes, and the sole width. The sole of the lady golf wood-3 is thicker toward the face and, at the sole of the L-wood is thicker at the rear of the club. All this is also meant to make this lady Ping club more forgiving.

L-Wood

Slower swing speed ladies can choose a special womens L-wood for a long stroke to the green, with no less than 26.0 degrees loft. If you read the ads, you would almost believe that you can handle actually any difficult situation on the course now with this lady Ping golf club! But of course this does not mean that you don't have to keep working on a good swing.

Ping G2L Irons

The Center of Gravity - in simple words: the weight - of the G2L Irons is placed more in the rear of the head. In combination with the wider sole, this should result in a higher ball flight and the circumstance that mishits will be more easily forgiven.

Ping G2HL Irons

These irons are a special version of the G2L series above. You can use a G2HL long and a medium lady Ping golf club if you prefer irons on the fairway instead of fairway woods, according to the manufacturer. HL stands for High Launch. No need to say that this means: a high ball flight and a relatively high distance. These woman clubs also have a strikingly wide sole to help you gliding trough the grass and light rough.

Lady Ping Putters

Ping is known for its broad selection of innovative putters, but you cannot find a genuinely special lady putter in the G2 Putter Series. These are meant for all kinds of women golfers. In addition, they have a few other futuristically looking lady Ping golf club putters with 'Galactic' names like: the Craz-E and the Doc17 lady Ping golf club.
