Proper Golf Grip Checklist
A proper golf grip is the base for a good shot. Use this checklist for selecting the golf grip size and materials that suit your game and lady golf clubs.

Size - Your middle finger and ringfinger should touch the ball of the thumb. The standard core size for lady golf clubs is .590". Wrap some tape around your grip if you have smaller hands.

Material - Manufacturers make golf clubs with standard grips. But Winn, Avon, Lamkin, Royal and Golf Pride produce special for lady golf clubs made of rubber, half rubber, cords, and half cords, soft and synthetic leather, velvets, lined, cushioned, chamois, lightweights, extra long, jumbos, big butts, tour wraps and training grips.

Weather - Rainy, dry or cold weather? Choose the proper golf grip material that can stand all weather conditions.

Wear and tear - Examine your grips from time to time. They can dry out, tear or become smooth.
Tip: If you play golf once a week, replace the grips of your lady
golf clubs once a year. Then you know you always have the correct golf grip.

Cleaning - Choose easy to clean golf club grips.

Abilities and budget - How many times do you play golf in one year? When do you have to replace your grips? And how much do you wish to spend?

Weight - Bear in mind the weight of the material, for example leather, can upset the totale balance of your lady golf club.

Beginners - After some time you can switch to other materials, but start with a proper golf grip of rubber.
