Uphill Golf Course Slope Shot Checklist

Uphill golf course slope technique illustrated and checks for making more distance playing the golf ball off an uphill golf slope with your lady golf clubs.

uphill golf course slope shot checklist

1. Take a wedge - a pitching wedge or a sand wedge - address the golf ball a bit more to your upper foot and lean into the hill.

2. To maximise your distance try to keep your weight a little bit more on the lower foot, but be in balance.

3. Now look at the target, and aim your lady golf club and body to the right of the point you want to land. My simple guideline is: the steeper the slope, the more you should aim to the right, because the face of your lady golf clubs tend to close more when you are hitting uphill.

4. Try to follow the line of the hill when you make the back swing. Hit the back of the ball, the high loft of the club will help to prevent slicing.

5. Follow trough as much as possible, be aware that the uphill golf slope will restrict you.

6. Always make a practice swing. Correct your stance if needed. Especially when you are out of balance.

The effect of my method is a higher and further shot than usual at an uphill golf course slope.
